Anthony Carter talks about his past. He dropped out of high school in 9th grade (!), and stayed out of school for 3 years. He went to University of Hawai'i was a standout player there, but went undrafted. However, his hard work has led him to a long NBA career as a backup point guard. AC FOR 2010 MVP!
He'll be back in time for the playoffs, but we'll need to spend a game or two incorporating him back into our "system."
Instead of posting the video recap of the Nuggets' loss 99-113 at the hands of the Celtics at TD Garden, I'll post one of JR's steal and dunk. The Nuggets forced only 11 turnovers, and managed only 4 points off of them. These were 2 of those 4 points. On the other hand, the Celtics managed 28 points off of 17 Nuggets' turnovers.
Nuggets lose to the Knicks 104-109 because the refs suck because the Nuggets didn't play enough defense and because JR went 4-16. Actually, our entire bench went 6-22. Knicks' bench went 11-21.
No real Nuggets info, just an interesting, albeit brief read.
Lawson says that he's ready to play, but AC's strong play as of late gives him competition for his PT. Hopefully, this will result in both players playing their @$$es off
I got this from FAT SHAWN KEMP, which has a good deal of mostly NBA trading cards. From left to right, Joe "Hall of Fame Stiff" Wolf, Scott "Shut the hell up and play defense" Skiles, and Michael Adams.
Somebody already mentioned this in the Milwaukee Game Recap. This means that George Karl won't be back with the team until April at the earliest. He definitely needs the rest, but the team doesn't seem as secure at the end of games without him.
