"At the end of the day, they'll make the decision. Whoever comes in has to know who I am and the kind of player I am, the kind of player I want to be and the position I want to be put in." -Danilo Gallinari

Nikola Jokic ears Feb. MVP honors

1

It has all started with the match against Szolnoki Olaj away, where Nikola Jokić scored 27 points and had 15 rebounds! He won the MVP of the round award. The next challenge was Krka at home, and young power forward shined again. He collected 17 points and 10 rebounds, achieved one more double-double and led his team toward a convincing win. Finally, the icing on the cake was huge victory against Cedevita on the road, and Jokić contributed with 21 points and 12 rebounds! Third double-double in the month! Putting all those numbers together we can see that Nikola Jokić had an average score of 21,7 points, 12,3 rebounds, and average index rating of 28,3! We can only add - Bravo!

NBA Personnel Move of the Offseason: On Dec. 14, 2011, the Denver Nuggets signed Nene to a $67 million contract. Nuggets general manager Masai Ujiri praised Nene as the top free agent in basketball. Just 91 days later on March 15, the Nuggets traded Nene for a minor player plus someone they waived immediately. Ujiri said the team needed to unload Nene's contract. I am guessing Gregg Easterbrook is not much of an NBA fan. From today's Tuesday Morning Quarterback column

"I'm going to push myself to be Rookie of the Year," the former Morehead State star said. "That's my goal. I think it's an attainable goal. ... We're going to rebuild and get better. Guys are going to push each other -- I'm going to push others even though I'm a rookie. I'll do my best and play my part."

Regarding my next season, I know that the management in Denver wants for me a more important role. I am ready and I hope next season will be good for me and the team. It is a honour for me to be coached by George Karl. He is a winner. " -Danilo Gallinari

I don't like the nickname "Ill-Will". I mean, really. It does not fit his personality in the slightest. He is tough, but reserved - almost stoic - not nasty or negative. Because he exudes silent strength and resolve, I propose Will Power. Wilson Chandler = Will Power. What do y'all think? (I'm gonna use it anyway). Any other suggestions? "Both Gallo and Ill-Will played very well." Many Stiffs, including Jeff in the Mavs recap.

Hey guys, I am going to fly up to see the last Nuggets home game that is on a weekend. It is April 9th vs the T'Wolves. Any advice on getting tickets? I have checked Stubbhubb and such but thought I would ask a much trustworthy source. I want decent tickets, I have seen my fair share of Nugs games from the nose bleeds, and while its fun, I really want to see an NBA game from closer. Thanks in advance!
