Karl has been at the helm of what should be back-to-back-to-back 50 win seasons, which would be a Nuggets franchise record. So, an extension is practically a no brainer. What is a surprise is that Karl is only getting a one-year deal. But this should come as no surprise if you have been following the dark cloud that is moving over the NBA ... a potential lockout! According to the Denver Post Nuggets blog, Karl's contract extension has not been worked out, and he may become on the market during the offseason. Does anybody read FanShots anymore?
