great note from George Karl....just finished Chemo and Radiation today. Lets all wish him well

I made this a fan shot when I remembered LACK's rants regarding the misuse of fan posts... (cue NBC's music) THE MORE YOU KNOW! Not really sure what to make of Brian Butch, but none of it is good until I actually see him play.

The Nuggets have reached an agreement to sign center Brian Butch of the Bakersfield Jam to a contract for the rest of this season and a non-guaranteed deal for next season, according to sources close to the situation.

The Denver Post's Benjamin Hochman is reporting that Nuggets head coach George Karl may not be back with the team until the second round of the playoffs...assuming they can even make it that far sans their coach. I know Stiffs everywhere are wishing Karl and his family the best as he recovers from brutally difficult chemotherapy treatments.

This was a great play made during the Nuggets' 109-92 win over the Blazers a couple days ago. Lawson got the steal on Bayless, and he dished to Smith, who made a pretty difficult layup.

I know this is old, but it's so darn funny. My favorites are the cameos by Renaldo Balkman and Johan Petro. By the way, how tall is Steve Hess? He seemed completely towered by the 6'3" Chauncey Billups.

He's pretty much finished with the radiation, but he won't be back anytime soon. It goes on about the hardships that Karl is facing, including not being able to speak, and the fact that he'll probably need to continue using a feeding tube through his stomach for at least the next 3 months. Go Nuggets, and get the 2nd seed for George Karl!
