Carmelo Anthony is informing those close to him that he will not sign a contract extension if he is traded to the Nets, according to a person aware of Anthony’s preference.

If Melo gets traded, we're going to have our next STIFFS NIGHT OUT this Friday (the 25th) and the theme will be "The Carmelo Anthony Going Away Party". As we did last time, the get-together will take place at the all new Jake's Food & Spirits and we'll watch the new-look Nuggets take on the Blazers in Portland. Tipoff is 8:30pm MST.
