Lakerspeak analysis: Why the Nuggets are Tougher Than You Think They Are...

+

Here's my urine-inducing view of the Nuggets for SBN's new La-la-land site, Silver Screen and Roll. Linked up here in the interest of cross-pollination. You might want to add SS&R to your list of sites to visit during the next couple weeks, since the Nuggets figure to loom large there as a topic of discussion. I'm calling Nuggets in 6 (2nd most likely outcome: Lakers in 7), so don't go saying that all Laker fans are blind homers, ha ha.

Within hours, the Pacers agreed to ship Tinsley, a draft pick and cash to Denver in return for veterans Chucky Atkins and Steven Hunter. Rather than pull the trigger, however, the Nuggets instructed Warkentien to make a fresh call to Detroit, in hopes the possibility of a trade with Indiana might entice Dumars, long a fan of A.I.'s tenacity, to bite on an even bigger deal.

Very cool article discussing the upcomming matchup between the Nuggets and the Lakers and the pivitol role that Andrew Bynum will play.

"When I'm on a team that's playing the way that we're playing, at a high level, and fortunately don't have anybody banged up, I just like to keep playing," guard Chauncey Billups said. "Unfortunately we have a little while to play, but we'll try to simulate some of those situations in practice. But it's nothing like a game."
