Woj: The Atlanta Hawks have sold the 41st pick to the Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have purchased the 41st pick in tonight’s NBA draft from the Atlanta Hawks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Th 41st pick appeared to be one of the most available picks in the draft for the Denver Nuggets to purchase since the Hawks entered the week with six total draft picks. The 41st pick also has a bit of sentimental value for the Nuggets, not that that would matter in the decision making process. Nikola Jokic was the 41st pick way back in 2014. Jarred Vanderbilt was the 41st pick in last year’s draft.

The $1.3 million price tag sets the market for 2nd round picks this year so expect picks above that spot to go for slightly more, picks behind that spot to go for slightly less.
