Get your wallets out, folks. The Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas released its win totals for the 2016-17 NBA season public earlier today, and for the second year in a row the Denver Nuggets appear to be flying under the radar. This season the over/under for Denver is at 34.5. Check out the rest of the league numbers below:

Of course, 34.5 wins for the Nuggets is certainly a step up from the 26.5 over/under from last season. But then again, the Nuggets shattered that expectation by winning 33 games, seven more than expected. With a healthy Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari along with another year of experience for the younger players, it seems kind of ridiculous to think that the Nuggets would only improve by one game. I'm not a betting man, but odds like this are quickly convincing me otherwise.
Also of note are the odds for the rest of the Northwest Division. Vegas appears to be on board the Utah Jazz train, and has its odds at an optimistic 47.5 wins, which could very well happen given the strong offseason moves made. Portland and Oklahoma City seem about right at 46.5 and 45.5 wins respectively, which also puts them within striking distance of the Jazz for control of the division. The way I see it, these three
What shocked me a bit was Minnesota's odds, placed at 41.5 wins. That's a 13 game swing in one season (the Wolves won 29 games last year) which to me is very, very optimistic. Karl Anthony-Towns is a beast and having Tom Thibodeau at the helm will certainly help, but I think that is too much of a jump for now.
As long as the Nuggets stay healthy they should be able to reach the 34.5 mark with ease this season and surprise Vegas oddsmakers once again. If nothing else, these odds
