The big three?.... No not that big three.

Do you think we will continue to stagger who plays between Milsap, Green, and McGee going into the post season depending on matchups or will we go down to two of the 3 so we that we can create a tighter more consistent rotation.

It's such a tough decision I understand why Malone is saying it's the hardest thing he's dealing with at the moment outside the loss of Jamal.

It's so hard because they all have their own strengths and weaknesses.

1. Paul Milsap:

He has the biggest connection with the players of course and also has the most experience of the bunch. He has the highest IQ of them as well, a low low mistake professional who still has some left in the tank. Hes so crafty on D with his smart hands and body positioning and on offense can still hit the 3 and is the only big man outside of Gordon that can actually create his own shot. Something very important to the bench unit. His diminishing quickness and vertical leap are really his only weaknesses.

2. JaMychal Green:

Noted as Nikos favorite guy to play with for a number of reasons earlier in the season. He did and still does at times, alot of the little things that don't show up in the box score. Knowing where to be with what lineup, switching well on D, a tough guy boxing out, and setting screens better than most guys we have. Like Mcgee this guy hustles his ass off and brings some energy that Milsap sometimes doesn't. Also, shooting a ridiculous near 50% from deep for a long stint earlier this season, he's definitely the best marksman of the 3. Consistency is key for Green, he fell off pretty hard, has had a few flashes of coming back to form but time will tell. Again, consistency. He also sometimes seems a little undersized at times to guard bigger post guys.

3. Javale McGee:

Big Vale! Dudes been around, lots of big game experience, 3x champ. But the main thing he brings that the others cannot, SIZE. Size matters y'all. Especially with our sometimes poor penetration defense, without a rim protector we often help too much in the paint and get murdered by average shooting teams from outside. Hes also the only true lob threat besides Gordon and a good roll man which can also give the bench a little more diversity on offense which is desperately needed. He still is, and always will be, a little mistake prone which will drive Malone nuts, and is still limited in what he can bring to the table but he knows his role atleast. I wouldn't want him to play near the minutes I would trust Paul or JMike with.

Question is, do we continue the stagger. Or force one of these guys to ride the pine to allow individuals more minutes to fine their groove and better understand their exact roles within lineups?
