Unfortunately, another season is in the books for the Denver Nuggets. After an amazing postseason run, consisting of two back-to-back 3-1 comebacks in the first and second round and a respectable series against the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, the Nuggets are now officially in the offseason. While Game 5 brought about a lot of sadness and disappointment for Nuggets Nation, it’s also hard not to feel extremely proud of the team’s resiliency that they displayed in the playoffs as they continued to overcome seemingly insurmountable hurdles.

Monte Morris took to social media after their season concluded to share his thoughts on the team and to thank the fans for their support.

While it’s always heartbreaking to see your team eliminated after such a deep postseason run, I think we all share Monte’s optimism for the future. The team took another step forward in their ultimate goal of winning a championship and exceeded most expectations for them this season. Now, we just have to wait and hope that next season will bring about even more success.
