Not a Denver fan. I have no idea what you will all think of this, but... Demarcus Cousins? I can't think of a better fit than Cousins backing up Jokic. There's not a 5 in the league (particularly a backup) who can replicate Jokic's skillset and ability to run an offense, space the floor, & post up, but wait! Cousins can do all of those things! Probably not quite at the same level, but he played in a very team friendly/ pass friendly system in Golden State and fit in just fine. The on/off numbers for Jokic were insane in last years playoffs. Why not pull off what Philly did (landing Horford to backup Embiid) & sign Cousins? I think it'd be an absolute coup.

Please, Denver, make this happen!
