I have been a Denver basketball since the days of the ABA, Rockets, Julius Keyes, etc. And as a season ticket holder, I have a real gripe about the random strobes at the Nuggets games. Most of us (excepting perhaps the epileptics) don't mind the gaudy pregame light shows. However, the strobes and spinning spotlights have no place for when the ball is in play. Using the random strobes and flashing lights are not only distracting, but their use demonstrates a lack of respect for the fans and for the game itself. We fans support the billionaire owners, the multi millionaire players and coaches, TeamKSE,and yes even the folks in charge of the lights. And, we are present for the game, not for the often over-the-top side shows including the lighting. It was exceptionally bad last night against Brooklyn with strobes going off during the National Anthem. Getting in touch with anyone who can do anything seems to be impossible, so I thought I would start here.
