Nuggets vs Raptors:
When last these two teams faced off, Denver enjoyed double digit TPM performances from seven players, five with +20 or better, lead by Emanuel Mudiay's +25 and only RJ (-4) and Lyles (-1) were in the red, en route to a dominating 129-111 victory in The Mile High City. Toronto was at the end of a long road trip at the time and playing on the 2nd night of a B2B so despite the Raptors excellent lineup, the discrepancy was predictable.
Denver will not be so fortunate this evening, as they are playing not only in Toronto but on the 2nd night of a B2B themselves, the sixth game of a 14 day, seven game road trip (stop me if you've heard this one before) and after a disheartening defeat last night in Philadelphia, which has made the playoffs seem to be all but out of reach at this point for the good guys. Toronto meanwhile, hasn't played in two days.
Personal note: First off, I coined Poeltl the Turtle before Hastings. Just cause he reads my piece, don't give Scott the credit on that one Marlowe. I've decided that the seven remaining games will be data only, as I've simply got too much going on and with the Nuggets deftly snatching playoff defeat from the jaws of victory, I need to dedicate more time to certain other endeavors. The data will continue to be tracked, as an entire season's worth of data is infinitely more valuable than an incomplete season's equivalent.
All apologies to all that read it for the analysis. Creative writing is the primary reason I do this to begin with & quite enjoy but it's simply not my priority at this time.
I know it's a bit of an eyesore but I'm leaving the analysis template in tact so as to have a seamless transition into next season.
Prediction: Denver 114 - Toronto 121
Go Nuggets!

Update: Lydon is out for the year after tearing up his knee in the G-League, Chandler is probable with the ever-present hip issues and "Gary Harris" is out with a mild sprain of the left knee, and no illness can slow a savvy veteran like 'Sap. He's strong as an ox (with one bad hoof) and good to go, for Denver. As for Toronto, No injuries have been reported.
