I’m also a fan of Willie B. (the People’s Champ) and Plums and have been keeping soft tabs on the Nuggs to see how they’re doing this year.

I was also a Nurk fan when you initially picked him up and was happy when we got him. As I’m sure you rememebr, the narrative surrounding Nurk’s time in Denver was…polarizing…to put it mildly. And when he came to PDX there where definitely questions about his work ethic and maturity. He has definitely had his moments this year surrounding his effort and attitude and Coach Stotts benched him early on more than a couple of occasions because of it.

However, it appears Nurk may have turned a corner. Here is an interesting article that goes into Coach Stotts’ interactions with Nurkic, and the tactics he uses to get the most out of him, while still maintaing a positive relationship.

I know the Nurk situation is from times past and I’m not here to rehash old and painful memories (trust me, I can relate, we missed out on Jordan and Durant;) however, there is some commentary about the relationship between Malone and Nurk in there that looks like it may be relevant to what’s happening to the Niggets and Denver fans. That is why I thought you all might be interested in the article with some of the talking points being orthy of discussion.

P.S. I really like your team. Harris is legit, Jokic is unreal, Murray is developing and Millsap (pre-injury, of course) would’ve looked amazing in a Blazer uniform this year aswould Barton. There are many Blazer fans (and apparently Lillard, too) who are still not happy with that trade.
