Denver Nuggets Tweet of the Week: Trey Lyles gives back for Thanksgiving

Trey Lyles wanted to give back to the community this Thanksgiving

One very underrated characteristic of many of our favorite athletes is how much they love to give back to the community. Many players not only donate their hard earned money to different charities and organizations, but they also give a lot of their time to these causes as well. Trey Lyles is no exception. Trey and his family took it amongst themselves to serve baskets filled with food for those in need to enjoy on Thanksgiving. They did this for both the Denver and Indianapolis communities, two cities that undoubtedly mean a lot to Trey.

Thanksgiving is a truly special time of the year for this reason. A lot of people, not just professional athletes, feel inclined to give back to the less fortunate so that they can enjoy a nice meal on Thanksgiving. By serving food and donating their time, I’m sure the Lyles’ family made a lot of people in Denver and Indianapolis very happy. By the looks of it, it made Lyles pretty happy as well.
