The Nuggets could use an upgrade at the point guard position and Kyrie Irving would be a great addition. The Nuggets are in a position to offer Cleveland a better deal than what they are currently being offered. Here is the trade which would make sense for both teams:
Denver Gets: Kyrie Irving, Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson
Cleveland Gets: Jamal Murray, Kenneth Faried, Darrell Arthur plus
either Jameer Nelson or Emmanuel Mudiay and
either Juancho Hernangomez or Trey Lyles
The deal helps Cleveland's shooting and rebounding and gives them some youth and energy. Kyrie would fit perfectly in Denver and would be the focal point of the offense. The deal helps Denver balance its roster and frees up two roster spots in addition to the final roster spot. The deal also works financially.
Denver could pursue Shabazz Muhammad and Monta Ellis to go along with a center - re-sign Mason Plumlee or possibly sign Marreese Speights, JaVale McGee or Alex Len.
Denver's lineup would be:
Point Guard: Irving/Nelson or Mudiay/Ellis
Shooting guard: Harris/Barton/Ellis/Beasley
Small Forward: Chandler/Barton/Muhammad/Jefferson
Power Forward: Milsap/Lyles or Hernangomez/Lydon
Center: Jokic/Plumlee/Frye
It would be difficult to part with some very good players, but the deal would balance the roster and help Denver establish itself as a real contender in the West.
