Adam touched on it in the most recent pod...is there a reason why the Nuggets don't have a G-League team? Having recently moved to Erie from California I assumed all teams had affiliates, and it looks like the Nuggets are only 1 of 3 current teams who do not joining the Blazers and Pelicans. Not quite Syria and Nicaragua, but still not the best company to be in.
With 18 players on the roster and growing, including at least 7 players with only 2 seasons of experience under their belt, is there a good reason why there's no Denver G-League team?
With management's inability to pare down the roster and with so many young players it's a headscratcher for me. If the Nuggets expect to be on-par with the rest of the league organizationally as far as attracting free agents and retaining talent, a G-League team seems a no-brainer.
