That equals 16 players, which includes Monte Morris and excludes Mike Miller, Roy Hibbert and Vlatko Cancar. And they are also interested in George Hill?

The Nuggets need to do two things.

1,) Give their young players sufficient PT to find out what they can do. That means Murray - who obviously will get his - Beasley and Juancho. If they got Hill, Nelson has to be gone but that still would leave 7 guys at the two guard positions. And WTF are they going to do with 6 PFs?

2.) Malone, who was supposedly a solid defensive coach, has so far failed miserably at commanding the respect required from his players in sucking it up and playing consistent D. Millsap may help their defense right now but he is definitely not worth what he would get in the 3rd and 4th year of the contract they would need to offer him.
