Stiffs Prospect Watch: 2017 Big Board 5.0

With just over two weeks until the draft, it’s time for an updated Big Board.

NCAA Basketball: Final Four Championship Game-Gonzaga vs North Carolina Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA Draft Combine wrapped up recently, and that means the league is in the final stretch of draft prep. While the Finals are still going on, other teams will host draft workouts and make their final boards in preparation for June 22.

There are so many different ways for the draft to break down, even with what seems like an obvious pick for the first overall selection in Markelle Fultz.

Before we get to the Big Board, it’s time to go back over some things we do know before delving into a lot of things we don’t know.

  • The Nuggets have their own first-round draft pick, but the Houston Rockets own the rights to the Nuggets second-round pick.
  • The Nuggets will have two second-round picks, one from the Oklahoma City Thunder and the other from the Memphis Grizzlies.

My final note is that this is my ranking of what I think are the top 30 players in the draft. This isn’t the order I think the draft will go, doesn’t take into consideration fit, team needs, things of that nature. It’s where each player falls in a top 30 ranking.

There is some intriguing content in the pipeline for Denver Stiffs, and we’ll be sure to do our best to have the best coverage possible here on the site.

If you’re interested, here is Ryan Blackburn’s latest Big Board.
