The Kate Upton victory gif, while previously approved by Adam, has been shot down by H.Q. I'm not entirely convinced that this is the reason that the TPM post for game 63 was deleted (and since, resurrected sans-Kate), and am certain that it's deletion is why H.Q. put the kibosh on it, but c'est la vie. Denver vs Washington: The tall and short of it.

1st Half- Jokic, Gallo and Faried are all out for this one, leaving only Harris as an opening night starter for the Nuggets. Jameer is a -10 TPM after 4 minutes, in which Wash has scored 14 points to Denver's 16! (That's not good, for those keeping score at home.) Nuggets wings are keeping us in the game. Mudiay is playing, which is pretty much a necessity the way Jameer is getting lit up by the uber-athletic Wall. I've no clue how the Nuggets are staying close, down 35-28 after 1. Barton off to yet another slow start. 2nd team not getting it done in any facet. Playing decent d, but absolutely zero rim protection. Mudiay and Murray are both on the court, but Barton is still handling the distribution duties. Baffling game plan by the coaching staff! No one for either team is in any foul trouble at 8 minute mark. Mudiay looks like a pentathlete to Jameer's ice curler out there tonight. How, or why their roles aren't reversed, is completely beyond me. Young Nuggets, plus Chandler have managed to cut it to 4, behind Mudiay's attacking play at 7 minute mark. Confusing dress Ally, but I dig the matching choker. Jameer checks in and makes a fine hustling rebound before the ball hits out of bounds. Once again, nice of you to finally join us Jameer! Wiz lead, quickly stretches back up to 13 at 4 minute mark. I can not possibly illustrate just how much Jameer is killing us tonight, apart from saying he is a -18 TPM in 12 minutes of play. Yikes! Only Nuggets 1 or 5 who is doing well in that regard is Mudiay at +6. Starters playing no d, and Wiz are moving the ball with ease. Disastrous 1st half ends with the Wiz up 67-50
2nd half- Looking for silver linings, and all I can come up with is that I made a delicious lobster/crab chowder earlier, to enjoy after the game. Beautiful entry pass from Plumlee yields 2 for Juancho. Wiz quickly extend to a 21 point lead in 2 minutes of play. Their starting backcourt/Gortat are getting whatever they want, whenever they want it. Wall looks hella stoned tonight. Good to see Chandler following up his career high scoring game with another excellent game, so I guess that and the chowder are the bright spots. Wiz getting every 50-50 ball, and it's no accident. Will be interesting to see who the garbage time unit will be in this blowout, cause to my eye, they are all out there (save Chandler) right now. Jameer starting to cut into his TPM deficit with some decent passing, and by completely staying out of the whole guarding opponents equation. Predictably, Barton is once again, finally showing up towards the end of the 3rd, for the 4th straight game. Jameer checks out, hopefully for the night, and Murray comes in despite Mudiay's fine 1st half showing, at the 4 minute mark down 23. Wiz lead down to 14 in the first TWO MINUTES sans-Jameer! It's not rocket science Malone. Murray starting to heat up. Just like that, the Nuggets seize momentum and have cut the lead to 12, 97-85 after 3. Some beautiful ball movement and it's down to 10. Barton is playing very selfishly, there's no other way to state it. Wiz have suddenly forgotten how to play in the face of not-shitty defense. Nuggets starting to settle for bad shots and the lead is back to 16 at 8 minute mark. Murray should go iso on every play as hot as he is now. Nuggets still in it, down 11 at 6 minute mark. Murray is a +18 TPM in 18 minutes, most of which coming in the 2nd half. As with last game, all starters but Jameer are putting up good numbers. Also as with last game, the combination of Murray and Darth works so well on both ends of the court. Lead down to 10 at 4 minute mark. Plumlee seems to have every bit the finishing issues Nurkic did down low, despite his athleticism advantage. 9 point game with 3 to play. Flat out, we win this game if not for Jameer, plain and simple, but it's gonna be tough given that this productive unit is now exhausted, while Wall/Beal are well rested at this point. Plumlee gets it in the Plums on a cheap shot by Morris, who is rightfully ejected, at 2 minute mark with the Nuggets down 11. This could be the break we needed, that Plumlee did not. He makes one of 2 followed by a Murray 2, cutting it to 8. Unfortunately, we allowed them to build too big of a lead in the early 3rd, and are not able to come all the way back, despite spirited play from Murray, Harris, Darth and Plumlee. Wiz win 123-113
Final Thoughts- End the fucking Janightmere already!
