Coach Malone. Really?!?

Premise: first post here; sorry if my english looks broken, not my first language. Sorry if I say stupid things, not my first sport.

I understand this is not the moment to throw the blame on anyone, but I feel we have actually gone too far.

A new sinister light is irradiating retrospectively and showing now clearer than ever what Malone has been able to do in 2 years:

-not develope a clear system for players to stick within. An explanation fot this could (hardly) be that he had to handle such a variegate roster that by creating rigid impersonal assignments he would have just ended to inhibit their skills.

-Even if the final (after 1 1/2 year) idea (idea??) was to use Jokic's creativity to fertilise the ground for other to grow on, at least a solid set of schemes where to seek refuge in dearthly nights would have been appreciated. Instead what we had was 2 or 3 schemes that even I can predict; or a lot of lol ideas which he constantly experimented every time coming after timeouts with such poor results. The clutchest the time was, the poorest the results. Do you think there is any stat on this (effectiveness coming of to)?

- destroy the confidence of young players on the roster by impressively creative expedients:

1) not teach them almost anything (who improved his play? improving is not not adapting to Nba); 2) give them too much responability to suddenly take it away (Mudiay, Nurkic); 3) creatng a toxic atmosphere around the team difficult to handle for vets (Gallo's attack, Chandler frustation...), guess what for youngsters; 4) changing so many lineups that it was impossible to discern which were good (we could only guess; I guess that Jok-Nurk would have been a good start) in addition to deprive palyers of any handhold; 5) showing with Jameer based-vet lineups all the patence he missed with young ones (what for? I understand fans are missing the playoff feeling, but as a coach Malone is supposed to think a little further than the average fan).

- Will Barton 28.4 minutes per game this year:) Nothing personal but come on man!

- not installing any concept (or as He loves to call it: culture...oh what a sweet deep word) of DEFENSE!!!

- (this is personal) boring me by reading stats and repeating same clichés all season after losses long instead of explaining what He ha din mind; though by any chanche He didn't anything else in. Distributing stereotyped compliments and repeating same boring stats after wins.

- In the game of the year, quoting Adam Mares:

13 ore fa

Lots of other stuff happened, but DEN gave up a 10-0 run in the 3rd when they tried a lineup they'd never tried before all season.

Another way to say this is that for the time we had a legit point-guard on the field we were down by 2. we lost by 9. we lost the momentum in that period. It was the 3d quarter: the time Denver's matches are almost every time decided. Creative is to say the least Coach!

In the end I think he missed all of his goals:

- evaluate young players on the roster to possibly make the roster even better (Mudiay, Nurkic, Beasley but Jamal also). Instead we ended up with a Plumlee (not a good sign for Portland fans to love him, quite losing-minded behaviour; even worst they seem to miss the Thrill! Way better for Portland they have a GM who doesn't listen to them). Exceptions like Juancho who is improving (and not only his shooting!) because he is a proud and pig-headed guy can't be credited to tha coach I guess. (I've heard a lot of players saying that He pass huge time in he gym).

- create a winning environment (on a daily basis, as a routine VS. through glourious but incidental feats) through vets which is way different from the" we-nevet-quit" motto and attitude He evangelizes. We never quit it means we are already in a shitty situation. Exceptions like Gary Harris (who is not even a vet) who has efficiency written in his DNA and litres of classy cool blood pumping his veins.

- regain love and attention from people. Even if Jokic is too good and He can attract interest by himself from all over the world (I'm from Italy and I'm not here because of Gallo), Malone's foundations imploded the minute after they underwent the first stress-test.

To be fair the Nurkic- Plumlee fail has to be addressed to the whole orgaization from GM (big time fail for TC, I was surprised since I have really liked his work until that moment) to players; I was sick to see Denver's players smiling and hugging Nurk after yesterday's game like they had to. But I was even more angry to see them being kind of submitted to Juka's huge ego DURING the game since He was clearly provoking and bullying them and didn't get any response but some friendly pats on his big shoulders! An I am sayiing this also as a praise to Nurkic: he showed some character!!!

At this point fmy hopes for the offseason:

- resign Gallo if the price is right (I doubt it will be right).

- trade Barton (or Chandler if it's needed) to move up in the draft.

- sign any decent PG (possibly a guy who can also defend) beacuse Jamal Murray has shown the character other are missing and some rare skills but He didn't show great playmaking abilities.

- resign Roy Hibbert.

- trade Barton.

AND........FIREEEE! (the coach:))

Ps: this post doesn't mean I gave up on this season hopes to reach the 8th seed. I will be sweating and suffering to support the guys next match more than I did on last knowing well that this will just lead to more suffering... cause hope and sufference always coexhist. Something has always attracted me to teams/athletes of this kind regardless of the sport. So please don't answer like you were surely salivating until yesterday and now you're already here to throw blames around!

Any other reply will be really appreciated! even you are an idiot poor Italian go back eat you pizza play your mandolino and watch soccer syle! Nor moralism or censure will be applied ;) My 2 cents...Andrea from Milan.
