The Nuggets have been an exciting team this year when they are on. However, because of a poor start with bad rotations it looks as though the playoffs are going to be missed again this year. How many years does a young coach get? Don't get me wrong I like the guy for the most part although he does throw players under the bus at times and never admits his coaching cost them the close games.

I just don't see him as the coach to take a talented team very far. He is an alright coach for a young team coming off the disaster that was Shaw but this might be his limit. If Elway was the GM I don't think Malone would be coming back next year. Connelly has done a good job of building through the draft but has yet to pull off a substantial trade. Josh Kroenke appears to have a lot of other things on his plate and does not seem to be an owner with a win now and win from now on philosophy. It just seems to be a low energy organization with hopeful aspirations. The coach seems to go along with these low expectations.
