Efense shmeefense! Can Big Honey & the Nuggets thwart a tired Clippers team, in what may be their best shot at making the finals?
I'd like to see Juancho get some burn soon so he can get into Double digits. No need to risk a Gallo injury at this point, after an earlier knee scare, (the type that he plays through tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if he misses some time as a result.)
And to quote Ricky from Trailer Park Boys:
Two days off, and still not ok. This is troubling. Also out of action tonight are Chandler, Faried and Darth. Basically everyone on our roster between the height of 6'7-6-10 aside from Juancho and coach Miller. With that out of the way, the plus side is that sf is as usual, the Clippers weakest position. Unfortunately for the Nuggets, We play our sf's as pf's, leaving us with the conundrum; do we start Plumlee at pf and have no backup c (since Malone refuses to acknowledge having a 7'3 veteran center on his roster), or do we start Juancho and have Plumlee play all backup minutes at the pf and c, & just pray to avoid foul trouble, against a team who's front court is adept at drawing them? Fortunately, we don't need to be so concerned as both Griffin and Jordan are getting dnpv's (veteran) today as well.
Update: Ally tells me that Faried is back! Worry not Nuggets fans. I hope.

1st Half- Ah, I missed you Ally. Plumlee starts at the 5 tonight, leaving Jokic guarding the dude with the name, from Cameroon. Two very nice assists for Plumlee early. All 4's and 5's are alternating who they guard, so I'll score them based upon who is guarding them/vice-verse, per possession. Nuggets can't buy a bunny tonight. Speights picks up his 2nd at the 6 minute mark, but stays in due to lack of front-court depth. All Nuggets who have played, have scored, aside from... You guessed it... Jameer, of course. A welcome sight, as Faried checks in at 4 minute mark. This Clippers team has likely their best shot of the CP3/Griffin/Jordan era this season, to come out of the west, but they will have to avoid injury, as all three of them are completely irreplaceable on this roster and even then, foul trouble could haunt them with their lack of front court depth. 7 Nuggets have scored. Only Jameer has not. Nuggets up 27-18 after 1. Barton comes in and drills 2 straight 3's. Sweet 3 man give and go with Barton/Faried culminating in a Plumlee dunk. Speights nabs his 3rd foul at the 9 minute mark. Make that 3 straight 3's for Barton as Denver takes a 14 point lead. He bricks the heat check however. Starters check in and are being careless with the ball, and the lead is cut to 7 at the 4 minute mark. Ugly end of the half for both teams ends with Jameer FINALLY joining the party with a buzzer beating 3. Nuggets up 59-46 at the half.
2nd half- Nuggets starters are struggling mightily with their defensive rotation tonight. Brilliant outlet by Plumlee leads to a Harris layup. Likely a 3d for Jokic tonight. Outside shot at Plumkic each getting one. Meanwhile, Jameer is creeping towards a + TPM; not there yet however. CP3 gets his 4th foul at the 7 minute mark. "They went Rip VanWinkle on that rebound" -Marlowe. Jokic has a 3d with 4 to play in the 3rd! Lets get one for Plumlee now. Has that ever happened? Two teammates, much less in the front court, in the same game? 6 Nuggets already in double figures, and they have stretched the lead to 19, with 2:30 to play. Plumlee needs 4 assists and 1 board for a twin tower 3d. Jameer needs only 6 assists and 9 boards for a 3d of his own. Barton with 2 more consecutive 3's where he is en fuego over the last 2 games. Nuggets up big, 103-80 after 3. Murray is now the 7th Nugget in double figures. Nuggets players are blowing Jokic assists left and right. Marlowe wanted so badly to call Bass an Ass just now. He has had a very good game for L.A. Clippers have made 8-9 in the 4th against lackluster d, and have cut the lead to 15. CP3 is absolutely killing Jameer in the P&R. All 9 nuggets who have played are in double figures, except for Juancho, with 9. Barton with 30, at the 4 minute mark. Jameer is still, impossibly in the game with 3 to play. Barton sets career high with 35 points. Way to step up these last two game Will! We needed that! Nuggets win 129-114.
Final Thoughts- Let's go streaking! Mudiay=0 minutes, Jameer=34. By my calculations those numbers should be reversed. Who am I kidding, 34 minutes is far too many for nearly all pg's in the league!!! END THE JANIGHTMERE!
