Analysis:

1st half- Boy, am I going to miss the sarcasm font in this format. I know! Italics! It seems that Marlowe has learned the correct definition of superlative, between the last broadcast and this one. Nuggets are starting with Plumlic. This should be fun! Plumlee is actually playing the 5 against this large front court for the Wolves (contrary to Marlowe's assessment). Teams trading buckets early. Plumlee's first points come on a half court alley-oop from Jameer. Gorgeous left handed bounce pass by Juancho on the break, leads to a Harris dunk. Jameer looks very good offensively tonight. Jokic fans are gonna skewer me for his low TPM score tonight (who am I kidding, Jokic fans LOATHE this statistic for reasons that are beyond me, since he OWNS TPM), but Dieng is not a center. That makes KAT the center by default. Plumlee shoots at the buzzer rather than selfishly waiting till a split second after. Love it! We haven't had that since Anre left. Nuggets down 32-31 after 1. Mr. Sting does not find Lombardi to be humorous. Back cuts for days with Plumlee/Jokic. 2nd team not getting it done tonight. Jokic now playing center. Stop & Start 2nd qtr, making it ugly to watch, but I understand the need to rest a depleted roster. Ally looking tremendous, in her flowing, black dress. 3's starting to fall now for Denver. God, Thibs is loud! Time to make a half time run for King Soopers™ ($39 cartons of Pyramid© lights. Hit me up! TPM is always looking for sponsors. Best deal on carcinogens in town!) Nuggets down 62-60 at the half.

2nd half- Sluggish start for Denver. "Not percolating" sayeth Marlowe, accurately. Evidently, Denver Stiffs has Jokic t-shirt competition. Barton is the only man playing with energy right now. Jokic can not buy one right now. He's visibly frustrated. Wolves pulling away, up 9 at 3 minute mark. Bench + Harris, in at 1:20 mark, down 6. Wiggins is killing us, with 33 already. Denver, lucky to be down just 6, 85-79 after 3. Barton is missing so many layups tonight, but he's the only man attacking the rim. Shabazz is still left handed. Denver can't shoot/defend. That makes it difficult to win basketball games. Juancho, contrary to popular belief, is not Gallo. Jokic back in at center, at 9 minute mark, down 9. Harris drills 2 straight, much needed 3's. Jameer in for Murray at 6 minute mark, down 7. Monster Jam by Wiggins on Jokic. Our guards simply can not stay in front of him. Big 3 from Jokic, cuts it to 6. Jameer loses a jump ball. Follows it up with an early shot clock 3-brick. Wolves seeming to get the benefit of the whistle tonight, but that's not why the Nuggets trail necessarily. Nuggets down 7 with 3 to play. Poor spacing on offense leads to a Jameer TO. Nuggets hosed on a jump ball due to official error. Immediate makeup call in the form of traveling. Untimely turnover by Jokic. The Nuggets are going to have to figure out the offensive spacing issues if they want to roll with Plumlic. Jokic could have been ejected for elbowing KAT in the head/neck area, but got a minor T instead. Frustrating night for Big Honey, but hey, double-double. This one is getting ugly, and Marlowe and Hastings are now bickering. Jokic does NOT like KAT. Fouls out (And then un-fouls out. He's out anyway. ) with another very hard, swinging foul. Nuggets lose 112-99

Final Thoughts- Wiggins is a hell of an offensive player, as is KAT. They have very similar team needs as we do; Primarily, defensive minded players, of which, neither team has a stalwart, at any position. Rubio is fantastic on d, he just doesn't seem to be a part of their future plans, but boy would I trade me some Jameer + fodder for him and his contract, to mentor our two young pg's. Jameer finally cracks the -4 barrier!
