I'm kind of curious why the Nuggets wouldn't exactly consider trying to hire one of the greatest coaches, statistically, in NBA history? Don't you have to at least give him a shot?!?

Let's consider the following scenarios. A defensive minded team who can run when needed. We draft WCS and run out Nurk and WCS to protect the rim and grab every available defensive rebound with Ty, FA SG, and Gallo on the break out. I would trust Thibs to design a defensive scheme built from the inside out with Nurk and WCS. Wouldn't you all??

Given the other options, Mike D, Gentry, Hunt, Brooks, Jackson, I'd take Thibs. He has a proven track record of winning and would get us back to the playoffs in a year or two. Also, with Memphis aging out a bit, we could follow their blueprint for winning in the west. We will never outgun the Warriors or Thunder, so why not out muscle and defend the Grizz and move back into a top 4 seed?

Honestly...I'm kind of bummed out that we don't hear anything about Thibs and the Nuggets. I think we have a roster that, with the right coach, can be competitive.
