Denver Nuggets Tweet of the Week: Will Barton and Jusuf Nurkic

The world was introduced to a new nickname for Denver Nuggets center Jusuf Nurkic this week following a Twitter exchange involving Will Barton. The exchange was so good that both tweets deserve the Tweet of the Week honor.

I always think it's cool when teammates interact on Twitter, because it's almost as if we get a sneak peek into their relationships and private jokes. In this case, Nurkic informs us that Barton has come up with a new nickname for him, and Barton responds with high praise for the center. Nicknames are a fun way for fans to refer to their favorite players, and "Punisher" definitely seems fitting for Juka. I certainly hope he will punish opponents when he returns to the court, especially since the Nuggets lack somebody who can fill that role for them at the moment.
