Yo, this is elavator music stopping by from over at Canis Hoopus. I am going to be moving from Minneapolis to Laramie in a couple of weeks, and will by default become a Nuggets fan from watching the local games. In general, I've always liked the Nugs (especially the old school mountain jerseys), but aside from watching the few games they play every year against the Wolves, I don't know a ton about the team.

I did some occasional game recap pieces over at Canis, and would like to do those here sometimes if you guys don't mind additional content in the Fanposts. Writing about the games helps keep me interested during the dog days of the long season. I don't know if you guys do any sort of game recaps/report cards here aside from main threads on the masthead, but if not you can check out some of my stuff to see what they kinda look like here and here and here.

Anyways - can you guys give me a bit of a rundown on the general outlook for the Nuggets? What are some things I should know about the players? What are the expectations for next season? What sort of things should I be paying attention to when watching the games to have a fair evaluation? Are there any "casual fan" conceptions about any of the players that just aren't true?

I'm hoping to get a general feel for the team and I will probably go back and watch some of the game highlights from last season. My goal would be to be able to put up posts pretty early in the season, and I don't want to be thought of as some kind of troll who knows nothing about the team. You will probably start seeing me around in the daily threads more as well. I appreciate any feedback and input.
