J.R. Smith: Amazing in all senses of the word

Hey Stiffs! It's Drew Creasman here from over at SBNation Rockies site Purple Row and recently of NBA blog Baller Mind Frame. I'm a long time lurker and have recently gotten more into participating in the community here at the Denver Stiffs.

Since the Nuggets are the team I know the best, I will likely be writing on them regularly for BMF. I've already done an Andre Miller potential trade destinations piece and today published an article on the history of craziness (both good and bad) of one J.R. Smith.

Here is a link to the article.

And here are a few quotes:

"Yes, in one off season J.R. Smith was traded for both Tyson Chandler and Howard Eisley, which is a pretty good indication of what his range of value might be on any given night."

"When Smith tackled Collins into the front row, the league was hit with "Malice at the Palace" flashbacks and he was suspended for 10 games. Anthony was suspended for 15. The Nuggets brass traded for Allen Iverson during the suspensions and the Nuggets were never the same again.

It’s kind of crazy to think how different history might look had Smith’s emotions not gotten the best of him in that moment. Moments are fleeting, consequences are forever."

"Oh, and there was that time he put Gary Neal in his poster. All up in his poster."
