The many problems. Just a ranting fan.

Hey Guys,

First time poster, so I'm going to start off apologizing in advance for anything that I say that is out of line and everything that is not said with proper grammar. I insist that that is not how I want anything I say to come off as. But let's get started.

It's hard to believe, but two years ago, we were the 3-seed coming off a 57 win season, and the Golden State Warriors in the first round.

Now, I could go off about this series. This series made me hate The Warriors, Andrew Boget, Mark Jackson and Oracle Arena I could also go off at Iggy for being a double agent in that series and effectively throwing the game for the nuggets. But now is not the time nor the place to vent the past woes of this Denver Nuggets team. Needless to say, I still have nightmares about Boget throwing down over McGee causing the whole, piss-yellow stadium known as Oracle Arena to throw up their hands and scream.

But I won't get into that. Maybe I will if Mark Jackson decides to again show off how he will do anything he can to win.

The Glory Days

But now, the nuggets are facing a few problems (obviously). Jeez, like who the f*** do I think I am? Captain Obvious? Am I unaware that the entire Nuggets fanbase is thinking the exact same thing right now?

No, I'm not. And that is why I am writing this post. I created this account five minutes ago just so I could write this post.

I just got back from the Nuggets v Blazers game where the Blazers put up 80+ points in the first half. During the first half I saw the Nuggets lacking communication, playing selfishly, and not hustling on defense. The fact of the matter is that if you don't do these things and you continue to get frustrated, you are not gonna win many games. And that is what the nuggets are experiencing in the early part of the 14-15 season.

Why do they seem so uncomfortable?

Why was there not one Kenneth Faried jam?

Because Brian Shaw does not know this team. He thinks he can come into a franchise that was previously coached by the run and gun play style of George Karl and totally change things up and succeed? He must be out of his da** mind.

Brief and obvious overview:

Kenneth Faried is not a half court power forward. He is a run and gun hustler, who likes to get the crowd excited by putting on a show. Frankly, Brian Shaw won't even let him do this. George Karl said it himself.

Ty Lawson is one of the fastest people in the NBA. Yet Brian Shaw will not let him exploit his speed. Ty needs to get in the open court and score fast break buckets.

McGee. Now this is a player that everyone knows. He is athletic, and if he gets the chance he will run in the open floor.

The home town is Denver for crying-out-loud! We need to use the altitude for our advantage and run the other team out of the gym!

George Karl had the perfect system for this team, and it is very sad for me to watch a very talented Denver team get blown out by teams it used to be able to compete with. If George Karl were still coaching, the nuggets could've competed with that Blazers team tonight.

The main difference between the George Karl offense and the Brian Shaw offense is that George Karl had his guys attack the rim. They didn't care who was there, they were going to the cup and shooting his percentage shots. Brian Shaw, however, likes his 40% FGP jumpers. Mid range in the NBA is a lost art, and it is such for a reason. It does not win games.

Ok. Rant ended. But it all comes down to the firing of George Karl. George Karl most likely will not be brought back, but the Nuggets need a coach that will them to get in shape and run int he open court. That is the way that the nugets will win more than thirty games this year.

There were fans booing the Nuggets at halftime.

There were Nuggets fans chanting "George Karl."

Something needs to change.

If nothing changes, then please, Brian Shaw, cut the leash. Let these guys go out there and do what they do. What they do is run and ball. Let's get up and down the court and get some excitement and some easy buckets.
