I have met Monta - good kid, very fast, decent jumper, works hard. However - I am of the belief we need a bigger guard BECAUSE of Lawson's size.

However - as I thought more about it, we would have the fastest team on the floor, along with some crazy matchups. The fast pace tempo fits our team, but I'm only willing to take a flyer for the right price.

What are your thoughts? At first, I hated the idea. Now I'm starting to warm up to it. I think Monta and Ty together, while a defensive liability, could be a tremendous burst of offense - and he can create his own shot. We need playmakers, and Monta could fit the bill.

It ain't perfect, but it's something. Count me in on this, because he's probably the best free agent left.
