What a summer! After setting the franchise record for wins, our Nuggets say good bye to the Executive of the Year, the Coach of the Year and a key leader on the court.

Nuggets Nation will survive. And thrive! I am an optimist. New doors open when others close. I'm excited about Connelly and Shaw. I'm excited about the development of Fournier and other youngsters. I'm haltingly enthusiastic about the free agent signings.

The vacuum of such an unprecedented exodus of leadership cannot be overlooked though. There will be adjustments. There will be conflict. There will be failure. There will be new personalities with different styles and different sets of strengths and weaknesses that will be tested in the heat of battle. And, ultimately, let us believe there will be growth.
