I dont know who else has noticed the way this team draws people in, you can't not love them after you watch a few games and see the way they play. You can hear it at the Pepsi Center on nights like tonight (Spurs Apr. 10). When the crowd leaps out of their seats with every Wilson Chandler three or Andre Miller to JaVale McGee lob from half court. The way this team plays is just fun to watch. Simple as that. But there is more to it than just the way we play.
When you dive even further into this team, the most likeable thing about them is the players themselves. Their work ethic and the way they interact with the community... Just look at Nate's story about the day they hosted the Special Olympics camp, or Quincy Miller's Twitter picture. There isn't one guy on this team that many people dislike, then you factor in guys like DJaVale (The D is silent) and the way the bench reacts when someone makes a big shot. You can tell they care about each other. When they care, it makes it much easier for the average person to become invested in the team when they wear their hearts on their sleeves the way that they do. I know that this is my favorite Nuggets team of all time. For me, its not a contest, because these guys care. They want to win it all so badly, for themselves, for each other, for Gallo and for the City and their fans, I haven't seen that with any Nuggets team I can remember. We love you Nuggets.
