Happy Monday Nuggets fans. The team has now won six straight and is 8-2 in their last 10 contests. With the next seven games coming up against sub .500 teams, could they take this winning streak all the way to 13 in a row?
Some morning links:
Just catching up, but Paul Pierce is down 2-4 weeks with a broken hand and Deron is out against the Nuggets, doubtful for the Knicks.

It looks like Deron Williams will not play against Denver in their upcoming Tuesday game. With that being said, I expect a huge game from Ty Lawson who will carve up back up point guard Shaun Livingston.
Faried (1/2): "I re-injured my knee again. I landed on my right leg … It's the same knee I hurt before, but I'm gonna be alright…
— Holly MacKenzie (@stackmack) December 1, 2013
Faried (2/2): …I'm gonna be fine. I'm tough. I'll just get treatment and work through it."

Looks like the manimal hurt his knee the past 2 games. I doubt he will miss any time though. As in his own words, Kenneth is tough and won't back down.
Did everyone catch the Nuggets game early morning yesterday? If not, Timofey Mozgov had another inspiring game. He had 16 points, 15 rebounds and one vicious block on Rudy Gay.
Other Rumblings around the league.
The tanking New York Knicks have lost seven home games in a row, a franchise record for them. The talent just doesn't seem to be there, and it doesn't seem there is much cohesiveness among the team, as Carmelo Anthony and Iman Shumpert reportedly got into a fight. I have a feeling a new head coach may soon be heading to New York. Good odds it won't be George Karl.
Anthony Davis, of the Pelicans, reportedly has fractured his hand in that same Knicks game, and is out indefinitely. It's a real shame, because the brow was well on his way to his first all star berth.
Meanwhile in Detroit, Andre Drummond just dropped a 31 point, 19 rebound and 6 steal game. With Drummond securing his future at center, and a large salary committed to power forward Josh Smith, what does the future hold in store for Greg Monroe? If the Nuggets are active this trade deadline, I expect to hear a Monroe rumor here or there.
SB Nation currently has their power rankings up for this week. The Pacers are predictably slotted at #1 with their scorching 16-1 record. The Nuggets have skyrocketed into the top 10 as well, and Coach Brian Shaw is getting some well deserved love for it.
That should do it for this post Turkey day gluttony, and black plague Friday. Have a nice Cyber Monday everyone.
