The Nuggets were only two games over .500 (17-15) at the end of December last season. But in the period from January through March, they went 40-10. So they started poorly, got better, and were an average team at best through December. But they still ended the season with 57 wins, and seeded third going into playoffs. This season they've started pretty much like last season (not statistically maybe, but 0-2), and if they're even close to .500 at the end of December, I'll consider it a decent start to the season. Maybe some people could wait until at least January before declaring the sky to have fallen and the season to be over. At least while here, so you don't drain everyone else's enjoyment out of watching Nuggets basketball while talking about it here at Denver Stiffs. Sometimes it feels kind of like the Denver Post forums of a couple years ago around here, with the overwhelming negativity, and it just isn't much fun. I stopped reading game forums at the Denver Post a couple years ago because of that overwhelming negativity, and I really don't want to leave Denver Stiffs. I generally watch the games at home alone, and having Denver Stiffs makes it a lot more enjoyable. Anyway, go Nuggets, here's hoping for a 40-ish win season.
