Rockets GM Daryl Morey doing an AMA on Reddit

Kinda cool to check out, he is answering a lot of questions pretty honestly. So if you are into GM's and how they kinda think, it is probably worth it to check out.

A little about Morey from his Wikipedia page.

"His hiring follows the recent Moneyball trend of adding more advanced statistical-based analysis to the traditional use of qualitative scouting and basic statistics.[1] Several teams have hired executives with non-traditional basketball backgrounds, but the Rockets are the first NBA team to hire a general manager in this vein. He continues to be the chairperson for the annual MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference."

Personally I find his approach a little short sided and piece-meal. I love Masai's approach, he had a plan, knew his markets limitations and executed it. But hey I know nothing about what it takes to be a GM, I respect the job. So yeah check out the AMA, it is kinda interesting.
