With the official signing of Evan Fournier today, according to Aaron Lopez, Benjamin Hochman, and Chris Dempsey, the Nuggets will have 14 players under contract heading into the 2012-13 season. Hochman tweeted that Fournier will either play for the Nuggets or in the D-League - going back to France is no longer an opion for the 19-year old. And this is before re-signing JaVale McGee. McGee would give the Nuggets 15 players and make cutting (Julyan Stone or Timofey Mozgov), trading (who knows), or amnestying (Al Harrington or Chris Andersen) a player necessary if Quincy Miller is to sign a contract with the team.

As Colin Neilson had in his June 28th article and reader 808inDenver reminds us:

July 11th - the seven day amnesty period begins.
September 6th - second-round picks can become free-agents (if not offered a contract).
October 29th - rosters must be cut down to 15 players maximum.

Expect a move to be made ... I'm looking at Chris Andersen.
