Just declined his option for next year, he was set to make 6.39 mill which is a little under Andre's contract last year. I do realize that Philly could still resign him, but for entertainment purposes let's just pretend they won't.
So now with him as an unrestricted free agent, I think we should go after him. He would provide a very nice scoring spark from the bench (he's amazingly good at creating his own shot) and could both back up Ty and play alongside him for those 2 PG lineups.
Pre-Draft Lineup:
PG: Ty Lawson / Lou Williams / Julyan Stone
SG: Arron Afflalo / Lou Williams / Jordan Hamilton
SF: Danilo Gallinari / Wilson Chandler / Corey Brewer
PF: Kenneth Faried / Al Harrington / Kosta Koufos
C: JaVale McGee / Timofey Mozgov / Kosta Koufos
Pretty solid, but I feel like we gotta get rid of Rudy and Brewer in order to make room for Jordan Hamilton. This kid was supposed to be a lottery pick but fell because some feared he would be uncoachable. Well, I haven't heard one complaint from him about the severely limited minutes he played and he was even the first Nuggets player to come back and start working on the offseason. This kid is gonna be good.
Also, Jeff Green is going to be a UFA. If we did the Wilson trade for the warrior's 7th pick and somehow got Jeff Green, that would be ridiculously sexy. Go Masai, do work!.
