Or if you don't care about spoilers
I have to admit, I was worried about the ability of Loki to pull off being the bad guy against a full team of Avengers. In the end, he couldn't, as Hulk said, Puny god. The movie was good though. Was it the presence of Loki on the Helicarrier that made everyone so grumpy? I think so. I was also skeptical about the inclusion of hawkeye. My wife was unfamiliar with him, but figured him out. I guess this was why he was inluded, simple character, no into needed. I'll agree with one of the previews I saw, it would have been better to introduce another character in a film last year. He was useless. In fact, Captain America, Black Widow, and Hawkeye all felt mostly useless when measured against the rest. If you have read the comics, you know that when your team has the hulk, you really don't need the rest of them. This was born out by the two funniest parts of the movie: After the hulk and Thor take out the giant flying lizard, Hulk gives Thor a left handed love tap that ejects him from view, and Loki attempts to give Hulk a longwinded story about being a god, only to be left whimpering in pain after Hulk slams him into the ground repeatedly. Was that a Skrull at the end? Don't they usually go against the fantastic four? A crossover perhaps?
