Jordan Hamilton

I continue to watch Jordan Hamilton and am amazed by his athletic ability among other traits. He seems to be getting stronger and filling out his 6'7 frame. His shot has become more consistent, being one of the most pinpoint on the team. Every time Gallinari or Iguodala or Brewer have bad nights, usually Jham can be found sitting on the bench, no complaining at all, being a good team player when he should be lobbying for 25 minutes a game.

I'm deeply concerned with this, as it didn't take this long for Faried to break the rotation as a rookie last year, while Jham still cannot break into it this season. The Nuggets desperately need a 3 point presence, another guy willing to take it strong to the hole (see: Evans, Reggie), and a guy they can trust in go to situations. Hamilton showed at Texas and at the Professional Level he can be everything and more (go to guy will take time), yet George Karl continues to sit him most of the game. Am I missing something blatantly obvious here?

I don't know exactly when he entered this past game with the Clippers, but I know he provided a scoring punch off the bench during the end of 1st to early 2nd quarter. Did he play any other minutes during the game until Garbage time? The game was plus one Nuggets after he made his shot at the end of the quarter, and I believe he left at the 8 min mark around? If not earlier? They were minus 19 at the end of the half, and I believe they missed his scoring punch, because the Clippers had no answer for his athleticism on the wing.

Let me know your thoughts on his performance this season. I believe he should be our third man off the bench every day at least and work his way up to sixth man by the end of the year. I would be comfortable starting him in the event of a trade for a big name as well, but that's unlikely to happen with Iggy's and Gallo's value going down every day they struggle.

As always, Go Nuggets, lets kill the Lakers.
