Why this trade could work for both teams:

Nuggets – They get their “superstar” that they coveted in by trading several solid pieces in the process (majority of the pieces came from the Carmelo Anthony trade), they will obtain better three point shooting from Love that the Nuggets so sorely lack as a stretch 4, but have an even better rebounder in Kevin Love (who also has more size than Faried at the PF position). Due to the abundance of solid Nuggets players, they still trot out a strong starting lineup with a decent bench. This can also help the Nuggets solve the 2 point guard lineup that George Karl likes to employ. With this trade, the Nuggets would have 4 viable options at point guard with Alexey Shved, and Evan Fournier both standing at 6'6 and 6'7 respectively, which would reduce the change of having an undersized backcourt.

Wolves – They trade their disgruntled star and semi-bust former 2nd round pick for some useful pieces and now turn the team over to Ricky Rubio. This would be a ideal situation for Rubio as Faried , Brewer, and Chandler are all decent off the ball players that are more efficient not creating their own offense (which would create many solid targets for Rubio to lob to). Gallanari, Rubio, and Pekovic could be the focal points of the offense while the other starters along with a couple of bench players are also not slouches either.
