Interesting similarities compared to last year

During one of the many time-outs I take from work in order to read/search Nuggets related news, I came to a surprising conclusion: this year's playoffs are very much similar to those of last year, but with switched roles.

Last year, our Nuggies were matched up against the Jazz, whom we beat in the regular season 3-1. We were more than happy to play against them, given the fact that if they would have won their final regular season game we would have played against the then-dreaded Suns. The Jazz were without one of their starters (AK-47) and a few minutes into the 1st match, lost another for the entire series (Okur). They also lost the first match on the road, after a 4th quarter eruption by JR and a huge game from the star of the opposing team (Melo had 42 points). Nobody gave them a chance, down 1-0 in the series (4-1 overall on the season)..down 2 starters..w/o home court advantage. But somehow, they managed to beat a star-orientated team through team-work and unselfishness (+ D-Will).

I think it is very similar to the position the Nuggets find themselves this year. They are down 0-1 in the series (1-4 on the year), they are down 1 starter (AAA) and have many others banged up. They don't have home court advantage. They also face a star opposing player that torched them in game 1. But as they felt last year on their own skin, if there is heart, passion and self-belief, then there will be joy at the end of the day! I believe..I believe they can win not one, not two, but four matches against OKC. All they have to do is believe in themselves and fight every second of every game and by doing that they will triumph!
