The New York Times Hops On The Nuggets Bandwagon

As a Coloradoan living in New York, it's been great these past few weeks to read some Nuggets coverage in local print editions of New York papers. The NY Times in particular had a few that I think Denver Stiffs might have missed. The grey lady wrote a gushing profile of Masai Ujiri, recapping his journey from Euro League obscurity to NBA front office celebrity. A nice read. He apparently also runs a basketball camp in Nigeria.

Even better, last Sunday the NYT did a fantasy matchup between the Nuggets and Knicks, as if they were on the verge of a playoff series, comparing our strengths and weaknesses. I think you know who they favored to win.

And while not Nuggets related, but of interest to me and some here, that same sports section, right next to Masai Ujiri story, had a puff piece on Troy Tulowitzki. I feel like I'm reading the Denver Post. Love it. Though it's no doubt a fleeting trend.
