A TRADE WE CAN ALL LOVE-DEN-LA-HOU-POR

The Lakers want that other outside scoring threat, someone to give them a legit big 3 and someone to carry the superstar torch after Kobe has sailed off into the sunset as one of the best to play the game.

The Nuggets need real value for their superstar and hope that they can have a brighter tommorrow. The elusive big man, youthful talent is what they are scouring the NBA landscape for.

Bynum for Melo has been advertised across the blogosphere and media airwaves. It has been met with mixed opinion primarily on the Lakers side of things where the young Bus doesn't want to lose his pet project and some Laker thinkers are weary that their intimidating brawn will no longer make them better than their rivals.

Enter Portland and Houston. The two most difficult positions in this league to fill our center and point guard and that ultimately is what this trade is about. If you have a bonafide center and point guard you can go far and fill in the other pieces as you go. Portland's Andre Miller doesnt fit in Portland as his perimeter shooting is non existent and his knack for scoring shuts out Roy and Aldridge. Houston's Aaron Brooks is talented but shoot first mentality and whining have worn this on his own team. Houston wants someone more physical who can run an offense.

Denver:

Batum

Lakers:

Anthony

Pryzbilla

Eubanks

Barnes

Cunningham

Por:

Billups

Odom

All parties get what they want, the Lakers can't whine that they don't have a center and that poor Lllama-man will get beat up; plus they get a PG. We get a legit center providing he can stay healthy and a solid young player in Batum to go with additional cap space. If Bynum gets injured we have something to show for the trade plus Bynum has a team option in 2012-2013. Houston gets a PG they like, a young player in Eubanks to go with all the cap space they will have next year. Portland gets a championship PG and a solid forward in Odom that can even play next to Aldridge. An Odom, Aldridge, Camby frontline to go with Billups and Roy is pretty intimidating.
