Harrington and Artest both have contracts that will overpay as they get into their mid-thirties, but I think Artest, because of his defense and hard work, will age better. Shannon Brown may be asking too much, but we can't expect Artest to completely fill Melo's shoes in scoring or minutes, so Brown could take some of the SG minutes we lose by moving JR to SF.

I actually like Bynum's contract considering it's for one more year after this. We can try to re-sign him if he works and let him go if he doesn't, considering his injury status. Moving Nene to PF and having Bynum at C would significatly change our team and the way we do buisness, but life without Melo is going to change, regardless.
