3 seconds left in the game, Denver has the ball we are down or about to tie with one bucket, who is our go to guy. I know last year we got lucky a couple of times with AAA and one time Kenyon, and one time with Chandler. So who do you pass it to, better yet who do we look for. Nene? not in his nature to be taking big shots, the same goes for Mozgov. Lawson? Sure he has produced in the chunk of playing time but has yet to produce during crunch time. Gallo? The only game I have seen him be an actual "closer" was in game three against OKC. Miller? sure he can facilitate to close but im not sure he has that "edge" (at least not yet). Closer not only refers to the last shot, but the term is dignified with responsibilities given to a person to complete a game. Our team will not always build a double digit lead. Double digit leads are not commonplace in the playoffs. Closers are needed in crunch time. This isn't just apparent with what we have seen in our young two loss season, We have seen it before. I like the fact that we have a season to develop that in one of our players, but if we truly are to make it to the next level we need it NOW! Say what you will about our former 15, but the fact remained that he knew how to close out a game. I am sure these things will come with time, but this is a season in which time is a gem.
(P.S.) BIRD SUCKS PLAY KOUFAS!!!!!!!!
