Dear fellow NBA fans,
It pains me to hear the news today about the union rejecting the latest offer. Basketball is an amazing sport and it has some of the best athletes in the world. I am astonished that the two sides were unable to reach a deal. The nba as a whole has made great strides as a sport and all of that is lost. This Collective Bargain Agreement has such a greater effect than just players and owners. It is disgusting that the two sides failed to "negotiate" without acknowledging all the other workers that make the nba great. As a die hard Nuggets fan, I sit here without the ability to watch an amazing team. We are missing out on one of the funnest teams to watch. Our team is in an interesting place after all the melodrama last season. With so many free agents our teams needs this deal before all of our players leave for china. Our team is young. It's restless. And it wants to play. The nuggets are a team with such potential that missing a season could be detrimental. Ty Lawson, gallo, aaa, and our new draft picks have a vast amount of talent. The team needs time to mesh together, to play together. We are missing Ty finally getting the reigns to this team and I know his speed and athleticism would have led us to another great season. We are missing afflalo develop into a leader. We are missing gallo become the franchise player we hope he becomes. We are missing what kind of magic josh and Masai are going to do to build our team into a contender. We are missing rocky swish half court shots. We are missing George Karl on the sideline being furious George. We are missing another 50 win season. But most of all we are missing basketball...
