Proposed Amnesty Clause

Supposedly, the new CBA will include an amnesty clause which will allow each franchise to waive one guaranteed contract player and take the player's salary off the books. (Where was this provision when the Nuggets were dealing with Kenyon's bloated deal and his multiple knee surgeries?) With most of the Nuggets big contracts gone, what would you do if you were Josh and Masai with this new amnesty provision? Say goodbye to Big Al or Birdman, and their bloated deals? Save it for future use, particularly if the Nuggs have to max out Nene?
