If this deal does go through within the next couple of days, much of the talk both nationally and locally will be about what is leaving the Nuggets--that is, about Melo and Chauncey. However, from the perspective of Nuggets fans, it's actually more important to consider what the deal brings to the Nuggets. The big piece coming to the Nuggets in the deal (aside from the picks) is Derrick Favors. What is the general opinion on him here? I personally think he has the potential to be the first dominant rebounder to play for the Nuggets in this decade.
