The Nuggets are truly a real contender (this year's team is a sham) and sell out every game. K-Mart and JR Smith come off the books after the season, and all is well in the world. Why didn't this happen? Why couldn't the Nuggets have signed Stoudemire? Why didn't they even try? Why aren't fans asking that question? Why couldn't Stan take a hit for a year? He can, however, raise ticket prices every year. But why isn't he held to the higher standard of pursuing a championship team?
