At the end of the day though, throwing in Minnesota's 2012 pick that the Clippers own, might make this good for us. And, Donald Sterling is just stupid enough to pull something like it. Doubtful, but the trade machine is so much freaking fun, isn't it.

Nuggets do it:

Aminu and Walker are looking like sleepers and one of them may pan out to be a more polished version of Gary Forbes. They get rid of all their bad contract (Melo, Bird, and Harrington). They get a true center and can allow Nene to be the Power Forward he has always needed to be.

Knicks do it:

They are a cursed franchise that has always made retarded moves like giving up their injury prone/talented center and talented young players for not much. However, Chandler, Griffin, and Gordon would make for a nasty combo along with Jordan and Davis. They would have Harrington off the bench and Timofey would give them some size off the bench.

Reality, never going to happen, but let's get used to the idea that we are going to have to luck out and take a chance on some untapped talent to salvage much from this whole Melo...drama? Hey, Melodrama! What a great name for this situation! I'm glad I thought of it first
